Having performed more display device calibrations than perhaps anyone else in the field, Eliab Alvarez de la Campa and David Abrams have received hundreds of accolades on various home theater forums in recognition for their unparalleled technical and customer services.

Based in the NYC and LA metro areas respectively, but having also done extensive "calibration touring" across the country, they continue raising the bar by developing new ways of approaching old calibration techniques while creating some of their own.

Avical has also assisted the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) and Joe Kane Productions (JKP) with their calibration seminars. They are currently providing The Perfect Vision magazine with calibration and evaluation services for a number of their video product reviews.

During our calibration sessions, we employ the newly released Photo Research PR-655 laboratory grade Spectroradiometer for grayscale tracking, which replaces the legendary PR-650. Video test patterns are supplied via the Sencore VP-403C and/or Accupel HDG-3000 generators, as well as from Digital Video Essentials SD & HD DVD.

For product testing, we incorporate all of the equipment mentioned above, as well as but not limited to a Leader LV5152DA and Tektronix 1735HD HDTV waveform monitors, Minolta LS100 luminance meter, and a host of other equipment depending on the project.
